New Shelter Campaign
We would like to thank architect Steve Steinbicker with Architectural West for generously donating his time and support to give us a preliminary sketch for our new shelter.
Also, a big thank you to Tom Fitch for helping us to put our goals down on paper!
To get involved with helping us to make this happen, we need:
3+ acres in the County
(know of anyone that would like to make a large tax-exempt land donation?)
Monetary Sponsorships (designate for Building Fund)
In-Kind construction/building donations
Join our Capital Campaign & Event Committee
Estimated Cost:
The high estimate of building this efficient, green model is $1.25 million (land not included). Animal House, of course, will be looking at every means possible to save money and to build their future shelter responsibly. We take very seriously the fact that this shelter will be built by the people for the people of this community. It will be their money and the animal's money that we will be financially responsible for. Waste is not an option. When a shelter is irresponsible with their donor's money, animals are the ones that pay for that with their lives.
We want the community to put their faith in us and to encourage that we give the following Promise.
Our Promise to our Supporters:
All "Building Fund" contributions will be held in a separate account at our bank. These contributions will be used solely towards the building of a new shelter for Animal House.
In the event that a new shelter cannot be built in a reasonable amount of time, all contributions plus bank interest will be returned to you. Any preliminary expenses that are incurred by Animal House towards the goal of building a shelter may be deducted proportionately from all contributions prior to your receiving a refund. Please designate on your contribution, “For Building Fund” and please keep us informed if you change your address, phone, email, etc.
If you would like to help, please email us or call (970) 224-DOGS (3647).
